App Update Preferences

In the Updates section of your preferences, you can select how frequently you would like the app to check for updates (1). Updating frequently ensures that you are always using the latest version of the desktop app.

If you don’t wish to have updates checked automatically you can manually check for updates via the 'Check for Updates' button (3), or via the Settings cog at any time.

You can also select your Update channel (2). The Stable version of WiseTime will provide you the most up to date and heavily tested version of WiseTime. To ensure you’re the first to receive new features, you may wish to enable Beta updates. Beta channel updates are pre-release updates that we release to our community ahead of a full release. At times these can have some glitches however they are thoroughly tested prior to releasing to the beta environment. The benefits of the beta updates is that you receive the latest features as soon as they are ready.

It is not recommended that you select Edge updates, where new features are tested and refined before release.
