The WiseTime App will track your activity when the app is running. The app logo indicates the status of the app.
- On Windows & Linux the app icon will show as: (active), (paused), (inactive)
- On Mac, the app icon will show as: (active), (paused), (inactive)
If you want to pause logging you can do so by simply clicking 'Pause' at the bottom of the app dialogue and setting the desired timeframe.

The Pause till tomorrow option will allow WiseTime to automatically resume at the set time the next day. You can set the time that you'd like WiseTime to resume, refer to the General App Preferences for this.

The Pause indefinitely option will stop recording your activity until you have manually resumed it again.
Once you have paused WiseTime, confirmation of successful pause is shown by the change of logo. It is important to note that while WiseTime is paused, no time entries will be collected.
When you are ready, you can select 'Resume' to start logging again. At the end of each Pause period, a message box will pop-up to inform you that WiseTime has resumed logging and your WiseTime icon will return to normal.
