Here you can define the activity types, sometimes known as charge or billing codes.
If you have a practice management system connected to WiseTime these will sync through automatically and is your billable/non-billable codes. You can read more below about being Connected to a Practice Management System.
You can use WiseTime as a standalone and manually add/manage activity types within the same area. You can read more below about using WiseTime as a standalone.
Connected to a Practice Management System
If you are using WiseTime with an active connection to your existing practice management system (PMS), you will be able to pull across any charge codes from your system. The charge codes are know in WiseTime as activity types (1).
To select the activity types you wish to have access to within WiseTime, click on the 'Manage connector activity types' (2) button in Team Settings and you can then choose to select to add all charge codes to WiseTime.
Below is an example of how you can manage your activity types and what you will see:
You can either select all the activity types and sync them through, or use the filter box at the top of the list to search for the relevant activity types, tick the boxes required, and click OK once done. The code for the connected system will be automatically populated and you will not be able to edit this field.
To rearrange the order they appear in the WiseTime Timeline, simply drag them using the six-dots on the left-hand side. You can also set a default activity type by highlighting the star next to the activity type. This is the activity type that will be applied whenever time is posted without the user specifying an activity type.
Using WiseTime as a standalone system
If you are not connected to a practice management system, you can use this page to add activity types (1) or remove activity types (2). You can edit their names at any time by clicking on the name field.
